About Aadil Mamujee

Musha Ventures was founded by Aadil Mamujee in 2011 and invest at the seed stage globally (over 18 countries). The name 'Musha' was inspired by Aadil's parents' names (Musti and Shakila) and also means ‘home’ in Zimbabwe (Shona).

Aadil was born and raised in Mombasa, Kenya, and has spent the last 15 years building software across Europe, USA and Africa.

He is currently at OpenSea trying to build the most trusted and inclusive NFT marketplace in the world. He previously led product teams at Automattic, Google, Pocket Gems, and Segovia Technology.

He was also on the early-stage investment team at Index Ventures and is a Sequoia Capital Scout.

He has a Bachelor's and Master’s of Engineering from Cambridge University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
